We would be very happy if you decided to order furniture and furnishings from our online shop. Our primary concern is to get your ordered products to you quickly and safely.
Items are shipped depending on size or weight via parcel service or with one of our shipping partners. In addition to our standard shipping, we also offer a paid premium service in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Below you will find an overview of the essential information about shipping. You can find the shipping costs at the bottom of this page.
Standard shipping
Items are shipped depending on size or weight via parcel service or with one of our shipping partners. Delivery by freight forwarder is carried out “free curbside” as standard, i.e. the delivery is handed over to you by the freight forwarder in front of your house. You are then responsible for carrying the packages into the house/apartment.
Premium-Service
If you have booked the paid premium service, delivery is “free to the point of use”, meaning the carrier delivers all packages to the location where the items should be. With the Premium Service, the item is unpacked and professionally assembled by the assembly partner. The packaging material is taken away and disposed of by the assembly partner. Free access to the point of use via a stairwell or elevator must be guaranteed. The costs for the premium service can be found in the “Shipping costs” section at the bottom of this page.
Delivery time
In the order confirmation we will tell you the time at which the goods will be handed over to the shipping service provider. Unless another deadline is specified, the goods will be dispatched within up to 3 weeks after conclusion of the contract. If you pay in advance, shipping will take place at the earliest after receipt of payment. If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will ship the items together in one shipment, unless otherwise agreed. In this case, the delivery time depends on the item with the longest delivery time.
Delivery date / notification
As soon as the shipping company has taken delivery of the goods from us, you will be informed by email about a delivery date. You can usually also arrange an alternative appointment by email at this time. If you are not present on the carrier's first delivery attempt despite the agreed and confirmed delivery date, additional costs will be incurred. Please understand that we will have to charge you for the costs of further delivery attempts.
Transit time / delivery time
When shipping via parcel service, the standard delivery time within Germany (mainland) is 2-5 working days. For freight forwarding, the standard delivery time within Germany is 3-7 working days. Delivery to the German islands usually takes a little longer. Delivery takes place from Monday to Friday for both parcel service and freight forwarding. Unfortunately, we have no direct influence on the exact transport time and delivery date, as we commission external service providers to carry out the delivery.
Visual inspection of the delivery
When you receive your delivery, please check the packaging for any transport damage before receipt and have this documented in writing and photographs (if any). Storage authorization / storage location: If you grant the shipping service provider a storage authorization, the risk of accidental loss / loss of the purchased item passes to you. We recommend that you receive your shipments personally and do not give them permission to leave them.
Packstation
Unfortunately, delivery to a packing station is not possible.
VAT refund
Import customs clearance, import taxes and customs duties are borne by Müller Möbelwerkstätten GmbH. Our goods are shipped to you with customs clearance and tax paid. We ask for your understanding that we therefore do not offer VAT refunds. Different conditions apply for resellers/dealers.
Click & Collect?
If you chose the Click & Collect option when placing your order, we will inform you by email as soon as the goods are ready for collection from our warehouse at the address Müller Möbelwerkstätten GmbH, Klinkerhof 7a, 26345 Bockhorn. You can then pick up the goods from Monday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. or Friday from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.
